Mr. Uhas holds a B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame,
and an MBA from the University of Chicago, with high honors.
Why is discipline important to the investment process?
The success of any
investment program comes down to a disciplined adherence to
its philosophy and process. It's easy to "fall in love" with
ideas and people. As an engineer, Mr. Uhas brings a strong
systems background to the due diligence and oversight
process. While in the US Navy, he served as a nuclear
ballistic missle submarine officer for six years, where he
honed his skills as Tactical Systems department head,
responsible for over 35 personnel and the ship's quality
control program.
Prior to joining CVP,
Mr. Uhas was based in Singapore, where he was Director of
New Product Launch for Seagate Technology. During his tenure
with Seagate, he coordinated all manufacturing activities
across plants in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
