Mr. Patten holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Economics from
the Wharton School of the University
of Pennsylvania and a Master's
degree of Public Policy from the
University of Chicago.

r. Patten's prior experience in the investment industry includes time in brokerage, performance verification, as well as community development in Chicago. As lead portfolio manager of the firm's equity strategies, he utilizes his strong quantitative analysis skills. As a long-term disciple of equity investing, Erich has developed strong convictions to corporate governance, and the importance of management as an indicator of future success.

Today, Mr. Patten chairs Cutler's Proxy Committee and serves as Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Patten also serves as President of the Cutler Trust, Cutler's Equity Mutual Fund.
