Mr. Patten received his Bachelor of
Arts Degrees in Economics and
Environmental Geo-Sciences from
Boston College. He was awarded his
MBA from the University of Chicago.

r. Patten developed an interest in the capital markets early in his career. During his tenure working with Kenneth Cutler, Matthew developed a conservative, long-term investment outlook. A keen understanding of the global markets was developed through work experience in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. In 2003 he assumed the position of Co-Manager for the Equity Income Strategy, focusing on macroeconomic analysis and the sector allocation process.

Mr. Patten serves as President of the firm and is Chairman of the Cutler's Investment Team. Mr. Patten is also Chairman and Treasurer of the Cutler Trust, Cutler's Equity Mutual Fund.
