Brian Wilhite

With a lifelong passion for competition and entrepreneurship, Brian Wilhite brings a unique blend of financial expertise, innovative thinking, and business acumen to his role at Cutler Investment Group. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in International Trade & Finance, Brian's early career was marked by his success as a college baseball player, instilling in him a deep appreciation for discipline, dedication, and teamwork—values he believes extend far beyond the field and into the world of finance and business.

Brian began his professional journey in financial services after a brief stint at Enterprise Rental Car, quickly advancing as a stockbroker to become a partner at Van Kasper & Co., which was later acquired by Wells Fargo. In the early 2000s, he played a pivotal role in restructuring Wells Fargo’s Financial Services, helping to separate Capital Markets and Private Client Groups into Wells Fargo Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. His entrepreneurial spirit then led him to co-found a boutique investment bank, which was successfully acquired, before he pivoted into technology and media. Over the next 12 years, Brian built innovative social media and commerce platforms, starting with TrueAnthem—a machine-learning content marketing tool—and founding Sqor in 2011, a sports-focused platform that combined celebrity engagement with e-commerce.

In 2017, Brian returned to his roots in Jacksonville, Oregon, to care for his aging parents, marking a meaningful full-circle moment. Today, as Director of Corporate Development at Cutler, he leverages his diverse background to drive strategic growth, foster corporate partnerships, and support clients in aligning business objectives with sound financial strategies. Outside of work, Brian leads an active and fulfilling life as an Ironman athlete, heli-skier, small-wave surfer, and high school baseball coach. A devoted husband and father to four boys, he cherishes family time and is a passionate music fan and dog lover. Deeply committed to his community, Brian volunteers with various organizations that make Jacksonville and Southern Oregon a vibrant place to live, and he actively organizes philanthropic initiatives.
