Matthew Jensen

Matthew graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego. He has been in the financial services industry since 2010.

I was raised in Sonoma County, California, just north of San Francisco. This is wine country, and a truly beautiful place to be from. I played many summers under the blazing heat – which is great for grapes and will also toughen you up as a baseball player. I loved competition, and was fortunate to be able to play baseball in college. Baseball taught me teamwork, how to deal with failure, and the value of relationships. Its that same ethic I practice with my clients; putting their interests first in order to win the game. When my clients succeed, Cutler succeeds.

My career in wealth management has spanned across several different companies. Cutler is a great hybrid of my past experiences; big enough for scale and institutional knowledge, but nimble enough to navigate and create client-focused solutions. I’ve had a different “coach” at each stop, helping me to refine my skillset and learn what works best for my clients, and for me. At UBS in Century City, I learned the tried-and-true approach to wealth management. At later stops, I learned about entrepreneurism and ethics.

Each of these experiences are a part of my service today, focusing on major accounts and their unique needs. I thrive where I can help my clients holistically and in unexpected ways. That could be helping a client identify business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term partnerships. Connecting people is a passion of mine.

Family has always been a core value for me, both as a child and today with my own two children. In my free time, you will find me spending time with them and every so often getting out for a round of golf.
