Nico Swanson

With a strong analytical mindset and a passion for building relationships, Nico Swanson brings a well-rounded approach to his role at Cutler. A graduate of Seattle University with a degree in Finance, Nico values the balance between technical expertise and human connection in financial services. Before joining Cutler, he served as an analyst overseeing grants, contracts, and capital projects for a governmental agency—an experience that sharpened his attention to detail and his ability to engage with diverse individuals and teams. 

Originally from Camas, Washington, Nico now calls Seattle home. He enjoys the city’s unique blend of natural beauty and urban energy, especially its vibrant sports scene. While still loyal to the Portland Trail Blazers (for now), he’s ready to switch allegiances the moment the SuperSonics return. In his downtime, Nico enjoys drawing—a hobby that helps him unwind and tap into his creative side. 

Nico thrives in working with clients across the spectrum—from highly analytical thinkers to those who value a relationship-driven approach. He believes in meeting people where they are, whether that means simplifying complex strategies or being a reliable, empathetic sounding board. Inspired by Bruce Lee’s philosophy, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times,” Nico is committed to honing his skills and delivering thoughtful, consistent support.
